We are looking for a highly motivated Program Manager to create and deliver a new set of customer and partner focused scenarios. As a Program Manager you must bring a level of strategic focus and business awareness to our work. You must be passionate about, and represent the voice and needs of our customers and partners. You will be capturing and analyzing global customer requirements, and drive all technical field issues to their conclusion.
This individual should also have strong engagement management skills, including the ability to drive analytical rigor in decision making, strong business acumen, possess deep technical insights especially within the field of Telemetry and with that have the ability to speak in both business and technical terms. Program Managers are advocates for end-users and customers, so your passion for anticipating customer needs and creating solutions for them will really help you shine in this role. As a Program Manager you will have the ability to lead within a product's life cycle using evangelism, your insights, and negotiation skills to define and deliver results.
Qualifications:
3+ years of relevant working experience in some of the following:
Customer-facing application
Proven ability to manage multiple work streams and/or projects concurrently, and deliver on-time
Proven track record of driving high-impact projects that require strategic thinking, analysis, business planning and execution
Proven ability to innovate, especially in creating designs that go beyond what customers ask for directly

Description
This development role will work with both the VP of Development and the Software Architect. As an intermediate/senior web developer, your primary job requirement will be design and development of core web server software, with emphasis on the SmartBin customer web portal and corporate website. The successful applicant will have demonstrated a deep understanding of web UI development, capable of designing attractive, intuitive websites that work across all of the popular browsers including handheld devices. Candidates must be able to work independently and with little supervision. You will need to demonstrate artistic and creative talents in designing UI layouts and graphic design. In addition, creating software with an emphasis on performance is extremely important.
Essential Functions include:
- Design and development of new features in the web application, based on requirements gathered from product management.
- Investigate and implement recommendations on system changes to improve usability, increase efficiency and improve browser compatibility.
- Work with Product Marketing and participate in corporate website design meetings.
- You will work with QA and tech support to field web server related issues.
Requirements
Must have experience with:
- Excellent working knowledge of Java, JQuery, Java Script, Ajax, JSP, Servlets, JSON
- Photoshop (or similar) graphic design experience
- Windows, Linux (Redhat) an asset
- Working knowledge of SVN (Subversion)
- SQL (MySQL)
- PHP (nice to have)
- DWR (an asset)

Technical Service Representative

Position
This is a multi-facetted position with the primary role being to assist SmartBin customers in resolving technical and hardware problems received through telephone and email inquiries. This position will report to the Supervisor, Customer Service.
Primary Duties
- A passion to provide the best possible customer and technical support service through the use of multiple support tools
- Become a “go to” member of the Customer Service Team for complex technical issues
- Superior trouble-shooting skills with the ability to think outside of the box and find creative ways to solve customer problems
- Attention to detail and the documentation of all customer interactions
- Communicate technical solutions in “customer friendly” language
- Faithfully perform the duties of this position and execute the task as directed by the Company
Qualifications
- Broad technical experience acquired through education and/or field experience
- Ability to be hands on and deal with customers successfully over the phone and email
- Sound communication and computer skills
- Ability to work a flexible office
