A Simple yet Powerful Web Management Information System

The SmartBin Live portal is powerful and yet easy to use.

Community View provides information about the fill level of all the bins in each community. Google maps view gives a visual representation of all the bins shown as colour-coded markers. So, at a glance, your staff can have a birds-eye view of your bins under management and make intelligent decisions on deployment of your collection fleet.

Clicking on a community will bring up the live data for all the bins within this community. This is where you can filter the information you want to see, like which bins are full or nearly full.

By clicking on a particular sensor users are taken to the Performance Details relating to this specific sensor. Immediately they can see the fill profile of the bin, number of service events which took place, average weight that was collected and bin efficiency details. All this information can also be filtered by month. Other information provided includes diagnostics details like battery life, temperature and signal strength.

Under Plan My Route tab, users can calculate the most efficient collection route to take (for example excluding the bins which are empty or below 50% full to ensure maximum efficiency). The system will then show the number of km/miles required to travel, how much material will be collected and how much CO2 emissions will be used.
